Tier1 to Settlement

Post by umeshk2119 » Mon Dec 20, 2010 7:38 pm

Hi,
I am on tier 1 visa at present. On 24th June 2012, I will in UK for 5 years. But my TIER 1 visa will expire in the end of April 2012.
Can anyone help if i would certainly need to renew my tier1 visa before applying for settlement or is there any other way that i can directly apply for settlement?

Thanks

You will need to renew and complete 5 years.
Of course, I am assuming you meant you will complete 5 years in a category that is eligible for settlement.
