Hello people,
Just to clarify the amount that needs to be kept for 90consecutive days for a new born baby less than 12 months .
I just read on the guidance note that the maintenance fund for anyone that is less than 12months in the UK is 1600Pounds.
Does this apply to a baby born in the UK but less than 12months old.

That 12 month test is for the main applicant i.e. if the main applicant has been in UK for more than 12 months then he and the dependant (whatever his/her age is) can show a reduced maintenance funds.
