Question on ILR - please advise

Post by ela27 » Mon Jan 03, 2011 7:41 pm

Hi please help,
If the police have been called due to a domestic argument between myself and spouse (no violence involved) and no charges were made, no conviction etc. but it is still on police record, can this effect ILR? I am so worried about this, our relationship is otherwise strong and we were going through a tough patch due to other family circumstances. Would we be better to apply for FLR and tick the personal reasons box as our reason?
Many thanks

If no charges were made then this won't affect your ILR application.
