Can I make PSW application if My student visa tier 4 extension is awaiting
a decision in home office.

if yes What procedure do i need to follow?

Tetrapack, if you go through the forum you will find that someone did apply who was exactly in your shoes.

do you still have valid leave? if yes, then yea you can apply for psw. my advice would be to post psw application on x(lets say 15th jan) date and then notify ukba on x+1 (16th jan) date that you wish to withdraw your extension application.

if you dont ahve valid leave at the time of psw app, then you must leave country if you want to make pw application

I am registered with highly trusted sponsor.
My visa expires 30-Jan-2011
I have cleared all subjects, but yet
Yet uni said I will not be awarded Msc certificate before 9-Mar 11. I will not get letter also to support for PSW (because of useless meetings)
I want want to stay here and apply for PSW before rule changes.

Now the scene is ....

The Uni gives me CAS .Now I went to liverpool paid 650 GBP. The CAS was valid and they said they will decide on my application in 4 weeks time.

After this the scene is

now the uni has decided to give certificate. Can I change application to PSW and get refund . The passport is with liverpool home office and decision has to be made. kindly let me know the procedure

Please help as soon as possible as I can talk to liverpool office....
