ILR Set M submitted through Settlement Checking Service

Post by shabz_81 » Thu Jan 06, 2011 7:21 pm

Hi

My wife submitted her application for ILR Set M through the settlement checking service. Everything went smoothly apart from the documents. My wife entered on the 30th Jan so we had nothing under her name for Feb, March, April, May. Obviously a 4 month gap. He said the Home Office understood that it would not be possible for partners to have documents under their name first few months of arriving into the country. I had plenty in my name.

I asked the officer where the application was going to be sent and he said to Durham through secure mail. But after tracking the application through Royal Mail I noticed it states it was successfully delivered from the Warrington delivery office. Wouldn't this suggest it has been sent to UKBA Liverpool where I believe the settlement casework is carried out rather.

I've checked with bank and they can see a payment which is pending processed on the 7th Jan 2011 for £900. We've not received an acknowledgement letter as of yet, hopefully we're expecting something this week.
