Maintanence Fund proof

Post by karthikravi » Fri Jan 14, 2011 6:05 pm

Hi.

I am travelling to UK in March on TIER 1 and was wondering whether I should carry any proof to show that I have the required maintenance funds to support myself.

I meant cash, bank statements etc...

Can an immigration officer in the UK as for these? Are there any cases in the past where an entry has been refused for such a reason?

Yes, carry this on you. It is advisable to carry the same documents on you are you had when you applied for entry clearance to prove to the immigration officer that you can still sustain yourself without recourse to public funds.
Do not send me PM's with specific questions - post question in the open forum so others can also benefit from the answers.
