PSW Application Receipt

Hi all,

I posted my PSW application form on 10th December, 2010 and have not received a receipt from UKBA confirming they have received it. I have tracked RoyalMail which said my package has been delivered.

I know nothing more and have not received a letter of acknowledgement that they have received it. What can I do? Any suggestions how I can know of any progress?

call 08706067766, but they will ask you to write a letter to lunar house(either by recorded delivery or special one).

have they deducted money from your account?

Called that number a hundred times, (selected option 3 as advised) but noone picks up.

Paid by pay order so money deduction isn't something i can track either.

i just called them after pressing option 3, ring went for 3-4 minutes, then a lady picked my phone.....she was very nice. she took my all details. and asked me to hold, although i sent my application on 23 but home office took it out from post box on 28. So they are saying if biometric invitation doesn't come out untill 4 weeks starting from 28, then only they can put a enquiry. She asked me wait for 4 more days then if i do not receive it then call back.

one more thing, i also paid by banker draft, i didnt got my ack letter for some time. so you can confirm from your bank whether this numbered banker draft claim has been made or not. My bank told me that it was claimed on 11 jan. and i got ack letter dated 12 jan on 17 jan.

But i think you dont need to give biometric details, as you applied before 14 dec. and i have herd some cases don't even received ack letter, directly passport with stamped visa.

Just contact your bank and make sure through pay order number either payment has been made to home office or not.
