Indian HSMP Visa holders

Can any one who has departed from India to UK on HSMP provide the following information:

Is it rquired to produce Income Tax Clearance at the immigration counter at the departing Airport in India?

I heard that this requirement is now waived.

u heard true. It is waived off now.

Just keep your latest Saral or Form-16 somewhere handy just in case.

Again depends on case by case basis. I never got asked., but, some of my friends got expoited big time. They did "bribe" their way out... either way...carry saral or carry some cash... hopefully both....

I just arrived in London 2 weeks before. They didn't ask me for Income tax doc at the Indian airport. It's better to keep the Income tax doc as well as HSMP approval letter handy.
