I'm going to apply HSMP under 28. The link below says the copy of passport needs to be notarised, but the hsmp guide does not mention it.

Is it really ncessary? If so, how to notarise it in London?

Thanks!

You can notarise it with the help of a notary public if you are in the UK or even approach your local embassy. It would be good to notarise it as it adds authenticity to what is essentially just a photocopy. Since the passport copy would be sent to prove you are below 28, its the best way to ensure 5 points on your application.

You can do a search on notary public on google. Should yield you plenty of hits.

I was speaking the notary.
It costs 60 Quid to get it notorised and 5 quid to get a true copy attestation.
He says that the attestation is enough as Home Office will already have all ur details to validate you In Country Applciation.

I have sent in copies of my passport and workpermit. ive appied on 15 Feb.
im planing to send the True Copy attested documents in as well
