Does anyone know that if UKBA or the Home Office have the access to your very personal details e.g. they can go in to your bank accounts and check who payed the money and where did it come from etc to confirm the amount on your bank statements? If yes, do you think that they do it for all the cases to validate the earnings?

They definitely can and do.

HO or any agencies does not have direct access to your bank details . But they can request bank for it and bank is liable to share it for genuine reasons like of any suspisions of criminal activities , money laundering etc .

And again when you sign up certain applications for example naturilisation , we declare that HO can contact other agencies for more details of yours .

So in short if they want they can get anything .....

They can request the bank to give confirmation on the transactions. however, they do it only in case HO decided to undertake verification or other checks. If they don't have reasons, no checks may be made.
