Hi,
My Application for UK Tier1 visa got refused. The reason is that, my earnings for the month of Feb-2010 is credited on 10-Mar-2010, but I didn't specify anywhere in the application form. They refused my application stating the reason as they couldn't find earnings for the month of Feb-2010.
I have an option for AR, what are the chances of overturning the decision if submitted for AR.
Please reply me folks. This is very urgent for me. Thanks a lot.
Thanks
Meher.

Hi,
I submitted Earnings from Nov-2009 to Nov-2010. Only the earnings for the month of Feb-2010 is credited on 10-Mar-2010, because Feb is my last month of employment with my previous company, so there is delay of salary credit. The only mistake i made is that I didnt mention it explicitly anywhere in the application form or cover letter. But I submitted the bank statements and payslips for all the months.
Hope you understood my problem.
Thanks
Meher.

Have you not marked or highlighted your salary on your bank statements? Is it that they missed seeing your salary on bank statements credited in March due to huge number of transactions? What reason did they give exactly?

Meherbabu - do you care to share the exact reason for refusal? Sometimes people get fixated on one thing and it sometimes transpires that the reason for refusal is more than just what the applicant thought.
Do not send me PM's with specific questions - post question in the open forum so others can also benefit from the answers.

Hi,
The reason for my refusal is that they are telling that they couldn't find the earnings for the month of Feb-2010 in the bank statement i submitted and hence they didn't include Feb-2010's earnings in the calculation of my previous earnings. But I submitted my bank statements with all the salary credits marked in the bank statement.
What i am thinking is that they checked the earnings for the month of Feb only on the last working day of February. But the salary is credited on 10-Mar-2010 which is also included in the bank statement.
Thanks
Meher.

Earnings for the month of February 2010 do not reflect in the Axis bank statement. Because of this, we cannot corroborate your earnings for February 2010.
Combined total earnings have been calculated as = Rs 527996 = #39121
So, i got only 20 points for earnings which should be 25
This is the reason fore refusal.

In that case AR is likely to succeed given that they have all the documentation. Just to check, the EXACT net amount after tax and deductions in your payslip reflects on your bank statement?

meherbabu,
Did you applied with attribute of 75 and with earning claim dropping from 25 to 20, you got 70 so they refuse you based on this?
If not, they should not refuse your application even if they claim that they could not find the Feb 2010 earning.

Yes, because of not considering my february month's earnings, my earning claim dropped from 25 to 20. so they refused me.

Agreed, if the EXACT amount can be found on your bank statement, you don't need to provide any extra evidence and you should likely to win the AR.

meherbabu,
Have you supplied any other evidence other than bank statements and payslips for your previous earning claim? Because that's another evidence which could replace payslips.

Generally I don't think you are allowed to submit any further evidence for AR( some case they do ), please correct me if I am wrong .
But I think in your case, if the EXACT amount can be found on your bank statement, you don't need to provide any extra evidence and you should likely to win the AR.
Any one who has got an AR experience , please help reply this.

Yes, we cannot submit any further evidence while applying for AR.
Yes, the amounts in the bank statements and payslips will match definitely.
