Is there any one who knows the phone number of IRISH BORN CHILD UNIT DEPARTMENT.

IBC section have their helpline option, but it only states that they only accept queries by post, and the address is given on the recording.

thank you, these people make me seek I dont know why they can`t give me back original document.
I wrote them a letter in 2007 to give me back my document, again in 2008 I send them a remaining letter.

Do you think if I should just go to the IBC unit office and collect my original document, is that a good idea or not?

they don't have a public office, so you cannot go to them. the only option is write them a letter, making sure to put your address, ref number and exactly what document you require. and send it by reg post clearly stating it's for Irish born child section.
