Tier 1 Extension VISA ... plzzz help

Hi All,
I am on Tier 1 VISA valid from 21 Jan 2009 to 21 Jan 2012 and I am planning to apply for Extension in Nov 2011.
My passport is going to expire on December 2013 and if I get an extension i.e. from 21 Jan 2012 to 21 Jan 2014.
My questions are
1) Can I get the Extension visa on my current passport which will be expiring before extension visa expires?
2) Do I have to renew my passport now only i.e. 2011 (which is going to expire on December 2013)?
3) Is it possible to renew Indian passport in UK before 2 years of expiry?

Yes you can get ur extension visa on ur current passport.
2) Do I have to renew my passport now only i.e. 2011 (which is going to expire on December 2013)?
No need to renew it now. Once its expired renew it. Once you renew it the Indian Embassy would give you 2 passports back and in your new passport then would mention ur old passport number and put a stamp saying that valid visas exist on old passport. You then need to carry both ur passport whenever u travel.
3) Is it possible to renew Indian passport in UK before 2 years of expiry?
No need for it.

You already got answers for 1 and 2.

For no. 3 : You can re-issue Indian passport from Indian Embassy in London (or Edinburgh depending on your location) ONE YEAR befor expiry date.

However you DO NOT have to re-issue it for visa purpose as you have enough validity left on your passport when you apply for extension.

I am a consultant. you not applies your extantion before 1 month of your current leave expired. your passport is expired in December 2013. don't worry your visa is still Valid in expire Passport. You just need to renew your passport and you need to keep both passport with you. and after that when you sand your passport to home office for your in-defended stay you can send both passport and the give you in-defended in your new passport.

Answers to first two you have and if you really want to update your passport before 2 years you need a reason like change in appearence (include growing or removing beard) or name change (after marriage etc). Otherwise passport can only be renewed 1 year before expiry.

UKBA has a rule that if you have a valid visa in an expired passport as long as you show it with your current and valid passport they accept it. see below

b) If yes, do I need to provide any justification in the application for early renewal?

I am not really bothered about loss of 3 months for ILR qualification. One of the reasons to apply in March is that the application fee is expected is increase by 50% from 6th Apr 2012 onwards.

If you decide to go for ILR at a later stage then you will need to apply for another extension.

I am sure the fees by then will be £2000 for an extension...lolz

better spend £500 more now than almost 2 grand later unless you are sure not to apply for ILR at all
