Opps for industrial/production engineers

I wanted to know job market for experienced/graduate job opportunies for Industrial/production engineers.
- Any skillsets which are in demand here..
- is it easy to get trainee positions ..

Hi,

I would strongly suggest that you look up the websites of major manufacturing/engineering companies for possible vacancies and trainee engineer schemes. Most of these have trainee engineer/product development programs. Most engineering firms I know of in the UK are involved in things like energy, automotive manufacturing, aerospace and defence. I am not sure wheter or not I can take the names of companies on the forum so i am not going to. However, you can easily search these companies on the net.
