Hi,
To answer your question, it would be useful to know which country you are a citizen of.

Looking at the UKBA's page on family members of EEA nationals, it seems that a residency card (obtained using form EEA2) is not such that you would be free from immigration controls as there is a 5-year validity period.

For you to be naturalised on the basis of marriage to an EEA national, you would still have to be free from immigration controls on the day you make your application (provided you meet all the other criteria).

I doubt that a residence card is evidence of being free from immigration controls.

If so, you'd have to apply for ILR and then citizenship, which is a lot of money.
