hi people
i am pretty new in this forum and am planning to apply for my workpermit
i am a fully qualified mortgage adviser and part qualified financial adviser.
I have done my mba from london

I have a employer who is ready to sponsor me. This employer is an estate agency...

Would somebody know by any chance what the chaces are for me if i apply.. and would anyone be able to recommend a good laywer for me

I am afraid there is no chance of succeeding....

Perharps you should consider/wait for the new points sytem mid next year..

Chess,

I think with some help from a good lawyer he has a chance. Much depends on the getting the job description right and trying to tailor it to his credentials. This has to be done carefully because if you tailor it too much WP UK might say it is all staged.

Just out of curiosity, how one can qualify as financial adviser? I mean what qualification/Exams do you need to clear?
I'd rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are; because a could-be is a maybe who is reaching for a star.

You can do a CeFA and/or CeMA course as conducted by the IFS...

i have sent them a mail and am waiting for their reply

but i would like to keep my options open and meet some more laywers

Have you checked whether u qualify for HSMP. If yes then that's better than WP...gives you lot more flexibility...
