Hi,

I am in the process of getting my application ready for Tier1 extension. I see a section for Public funds and my question is with respect to the Housing Assistance/ benefit.

I have got a house in the UK using the home buy direct scheme where the builder and the government agency put in a 30% of the deposit which has no interest for 5 years. Is this considered a housing assistance/benefit please?
