ILR qualification for Tier 2 under 2 different sponsors

Post by Antolarain1981 » Wed Feb 09, 2011 3:46 pm

My concern is regarding the Tier 2 ICT and ILR application

I came to UK under Work permit on Aug 2007 (2 years valid) and after 2 years modified the same to Tier 2 intra company transfer on Aug 2009 (2 years valid), I am due to apply for extension on Aug 2011. I guess 1 year extension would be sufficient as I might get my ILR on Aug 2012.

Till date I work for the same company and now I have got an offer in a different company who is ready to sponsor my tier 2 visa. there will be a 15 days gaps between closing my current employment and start the new one. Will this 15 days impact my ILR application on July 2012.

Moreover will my future employer provide me Tier 2 general or Tier 2 ICT, which one is applicable for my case

Could anyone advice me on this

im pretty sure you are given 60 days to remain in the country and look for another employerif your current job is terminated for whatever reason)...

so i think those 15 days should not be counted against you.

its my opinion and based on what i have learned through this forum.. wait for other responses.

cheers

ICT stands for Intra Company Transfer(ee).
