How UKBA use the time - appointment for biometric detail

Post by Blhuesheep » Thu Feb 10, 2011 8:13 pm

Hi All

I have to appear for my biometric data after one month as this is earliest available date.

I am wondering will UKBA in the mean time process my application (in order to reduce the overall processing time) or will they wait first for the collection of my biometric data and then continue with my application. As in this way it might take 12 weeks.

Regards

why don't you use post office enrollment service, that's based on first come first serve basis.

Post Offices cost around £16.50 per person. It can costs us around £48.00 as we submitted three applications.

Okay, Did you book appointment using online service or rang them?
I would rang them and find next available appointment at nearest or second nearest centre

Check the letter you were sent about enrolling for biometrics. I vaguely remember something about post office being available for one-person applications only but you would need to verify this.
