Permission to stay without condition - LTR

Post by krispy009 » Sat Feb 12, 2011 12:53 pm

Dear Friends,
I have completed 8 yrs stay in Ireland and likes to know the requirements to apply for Indefinite stay visa requirements.
Any information about this is a great help.

Many thanks in advance.

It depends if your friend has been registered with the GNIB the whole time and has been on the right type of stamps (ie, stamp 4 vs stamp 2, etc).
The rules have also recently changed so that you can only apply for Stamp 5 (wcatt) if there are 6 months or less remaining on the current stamp 4.
Check out all the links here on the forum or www.inis.gov.ie - should have the detailed info you need.
