Is UK Tier-2 visa valid accross employer companies

Hi,

I have a valid Tier-2 UK work permit. I am currently working for concern X.
If I move onto concern Y, would the work permit that I hold still be valid?

The work permit / Tier 2 sponsorship is valid for employment with the named sponsor only. If you wish to change employer, you'll need a a new CoS from the (potential) employer.

Hello there,

Has one question regarding this. if I change the sponser for better job from Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General category , do i have to re apply the visa for my dependent also?

Which leads me to the question: Does your Tier2 sponsor OWN your Tier2 visa?

Say you leave them to another company or they fire you, etc. do they have the right to cancel your Tier2 visa?
