Are you doing these degrees just to be eligible for Tier 1 Points?
As you have completed your PGDPM why do another course just to get enough points to be here? Its really not worth it. I cant be 100% certain but correspondence courses do not count as full time education and hence towards points in the Tier 1 system

You can do a Msc course for 1 year to qualify for 35 points for sure. For that you need to have bachelors degree. For example Msc in Management sceinces. or any similar course.

Check the PBS calculator to see if these qualification(s) award you points for extension. Correspondence / distance learning courses or not, it doesn't matter (in context of Tier 1)!

No offence, but as a Tier 1 (General) migrant having gone through the application process already, you should know where to look to ascertain what points you may be eligible for for different attributes (i.e.- age, qualification, income, UK experience etc.).

thanks ken and mehta,

Having an MBA is always good for the future.an Executive 1yr MBA like most people doubt does not qualify as masters degree i.e 2yrs(DISTANCE).
wanted a clarification about this.should i go for an executive MBA or normal MBA 2YRS(DISTANCE)?
NO WHERE IN PBS UK,IT SHOWS THIS COMPARISON.
PLZZ SUGGEST

Reading carefully helps!

So why should PBS calculator (or for that matter any resource related to PBS) provide such a comparison? Should a software / resource provide irrelevant information?

Doesn't the PBS calculator tell you if a 1/2/3 yr. MBA will give you less / same / more points as a 2/3/4 yr. MBA, from the same institution or when different institutions are taken into consideration for evaluation? It does, try it!

That's correct. MBA (UK) is a master level degree and will attract same points as of any other UK master degree. I am a MBA myself and don't remember if they ever question my MBA on these grounds. I think they probably have mentioned it somewhere in policy guidance as well (not sure but worth checking).
