rejected the new visa affects the current visa?

Post by wakate55 » Sat Feb 19, 2011 2:09 am

Hi, I'm wondering if my application for the new tier 2 visa(new employment) is rejected, what's gonna happen to my current tier 2 visa?

Is it still alive and can I keep working for my current employer?

or It's already invalid and I have to leave?

Regards,

If a new application for leave to remain is refused, any remaining period of leave on the current visa will continue until the date of its expiry.

just to double check

when you said the tier2 application is refused, do you mean the CoS application by your prospective employer?

or do you mean after you get CoS, you go apply for leave to remain and got refused?
