P45 replaced by a letter from the previous employer?

Post by namkongpapa » Tue Feb 22, 2011 5:44 pm

Hi all,

if you have changed your employment to the other employer and will have applied for ILR in due course, do you think P45 should be included in the application or you can include the previous employers letter instead?

someone may argue that we have only to submit documents as necessary and not as many as we are preparing. for example, p60 would tell them all about your employment even though you have moved to the other company and so you would not have to show them your p45?

your experiences or advice will be appreciated as always.

regards,
