What benefits a full student with having ILR can claim?

Post by saqibmalik11 » Thu Feb 24, 2011 8:32 pm

I wish to seek guidance on the issue of benefits. The situation is as follows.

Husband is a full time post graduate student with ILR
Wife has CP spouse visa no recourse to public funds
2 kids, both under age of 10
Total assets around 3000 GBP
Husband is not able to do job due to studies, but has worked for around a year with 1000 GBP per month salary

Thanks

He can also speak to welfare advisors at his university.

Is the wife working?

Most students would be expected to be able to do part time work on top of their studies - what is the husband studying and why is he unable to work part time?
