Time after appeal date

Hi,
A friend's student visa was refused so he filed for an appeal last year.
Now a little more than a month back, my friend received a letter from Immigration and Asylum Tribunal asking him to send any further documents by 27 March. He submitted all the relevent papers.
Do you have any idea how many days will the tribunal take to decide the appeal after 27 March?

It usually takes about 4 weeks since the day on that letter so if the letter says 27th of march your hearing should be held within the 27th of april. If possible ask for an oral hearing as paper based ones take a lot longer then oral ones. Anyway good luck and god speed hopefully everything works out for you.
