hi there i have been granted leave to remain until 14 april 2013.Is it possible to apply for indefinite leave coz my hubby will make his 10 years in 10 may 2011if the law still there at the time our visa will expire.

Yes he can, not sure about the changes UKBA will made after april 2011.

If your hubby completes 10 years legal stay in the UK, then only he may be eligible for settlement under long residence at such time, not you.

There is no provision for dependants to be included in settlement application under long residence category.

Hi all, i am kind of in the same boat, will be 10 years soon. so what choice do i have for my wife? we have been married and living together in uk for 1 year now. can she become dependant on me if i get my ILR?

Yes ofcourse,

but only if your application is approved first...!!

then your wife can apply as a spouse of settled person!!


NO DEPENDENTS APPLICATIONS ALONG WITH YOUR ILR SINCE YOU HAVE COMPLETED 10 YEARS NOT THEM!
