Lost Passport - Need to Travel Tomorrow

Hi All,

I have lost the Passport and because of personal reasons i need to travel to India tomorrow? Is it possible to travel tomorrow without passport ?

Currently i am on ILR.

Please reply urgently. Please let me know the details.

To travel, you'll need either a passport or an emergency certificate issued by the Indian High commission. See Issue of duplicate passports or Emergency Certificates in lieu of damaged or lost passports.

To return to the UK, you'll need evidence of valid leave to enter/remain in the UK. See ECB17.2 Replacing a visa (or leave) if applying for a replacement visa overseas.

How long will it take to get the emergency Certificate?
