SET M Success PEO Solihull

Post by ferrarilondon » Thu Mar 03, 2011 6:48 pm

Dear All,

Just got back from PEO Solihull, I am glad to inform you all that i have been granted ILR on basis of married to British citizen . The whole process took no longer than 2 hours.

Book the appointment in PEO Solihull almost 6 weeks ago and started collecting all documents for past 2 years, i collected almost 200 documents, today i made 2 files, first file with almost 20 documents spread over 2 eyars and second bigger file with almost 150 documets for the back up.

The staff in Solihull PEO is so friendly that i cant explain, we entered in the building around 10:45 for our 11:30 appointment, went through airport style security and then was given a token. Whilst we were waiting the staff came to us and gave my kids papers and pens to draw etc, after 30 minutes wait my numer was called. The officer was a very friendly lady and she greeted us, asked for form and pictures. she only looked if we had signed the form nothing else. asked for LIUK check in the syestema dn commented well done only 2 wrong. She started joking with my wife "i bet you do not know these questions even i dont know lol". I offered her my proof of work etc she ssaid its ok just give me 6 documents from last 2 years. I handed her about 10-12 documents and she picked only 6 and they were
joint bank statement,
joint water bill
Joint gas bill
Joint tax credits
Child benefit letter for MRs
My credit car statement

I was like what i carried 200 hundred documents and she only picked these anyways cant complain. she kept typing on computer and said i will be back in 2 minutes. She went to back office spoke to some one for 2 minutes and come back and told me that congratulations we are giving you ILR go to counter 6 and pay then come back after 2 hours to collect passport. I paid £1250 using my credit card i had informed the credit card company before so no problems in payment. I joked with the ladies that any discount they laughed and said you are lucky as from next month its going up again and it might hit £2000 by the end of this year.

anyways we went to near shoping center touchwood bought kids some presents from Disney store and went back after hour and half. Ecery thing was ready. the lady at reception asked me to check the details. everything was in order we thanked them and left.

Over all it was 10 out of 10. my suggestions to all applicants is that do not worry at all if your case is straight forward it should be all ok and go to Solihull. they are the best. goo luck any questions let me know. Nowover to Naturalisation as i have been here almost 8 years so entitled for naturalisation straightaway. and yes we aere claiming jointly child tax credit working rtax and my wife was claiming housing benefit. no questions asked regarding benefits. good luck and let me kow if need any help

I am self employed and my income is around 1000 pounds per month, i offered my self employed accounts with accountant letter to case worker but she did not see them, and i dont have any previous p60 etc,

as long as you have enough documents showing that both of you have been living together for past 2 eyars you should be ok.

It's really encouraging ur application can pass so smooth :) I just wonder around 1000 pounds income can cover ur housing and bills. As I just got similar income as ur case . But my husband and me both work and earn total of 1000 only

As long as u pay ur bills etc. should be fine I believe. Your comment also raises the question is there a minimum sum u should be earning to get ILR ?
is there a guidance from UKBA which states that ?
I think as long as u r economically active should be alright. At least not relying on public funds as there are lots who do.
