Tier1 Extension Validity

Any idea about how long the Tier 1 Extension window would be open?

The initial application system closing down on 6th April, would the UK govt. close the extension system after 3 years??

I'm wondering the same thing.

My tier 1 visa is due to be extended in October 2011 and I am wondering if they are planning on cancelling the extension for the tier 1 system. Have they made any indication of whether or not the extension will be continued, or should I apply for my extension before April 6th?
