Naturalisation Form 8 - when to receive Ref Nb from INIS ?

Hi all,

INIS received my Form 8 application on 18/02/2011 (sent by registered mail)

But I haven't hear anything from them since then.

Wonder when should I expect to receive the Reference number?


Any comments are welcome.

Hi,

I would have applied a bit after you (a couple of days), and I received a confirmation letter from them nearly 3 weeks ago saying my application had been accepted into the queue (form 8).
They aim to respond to people within a week regarding whether they have passed the initial processing stage.

Looks like I need to look up their tel Nb now...

While their site claims they'd reply within a week, it can take longer. Mine took almost a month to get a reply (late last year).

They asked my birth certificate, which I had sent. But when I rang them they said they haven't received that. So I sent it to them again. With in couple of days they sent me ack. So I'd suggest to ring them and check with them as you should have received an ack within a week.
