A question about moving to Ireland

Post by DanielM » Mon Mar 21, 2011 8:21 pm

Hi guys,

I was wondering if any of you can help me with the following question...

To open a bank account and get a PPS number you seem to need a bill of some sort showing residence in Ireland. However I will be renting a room in somebody else's house and thus not have any bills in my name. Will a letter from the houseowner saying I am renting from her etc suffice to get a PPS number and open a bank account, or what should I do?

Thanks!

I suppose you can use the letter from the PPS crowd to open an account. I used that with AIB but was about 4 years ago. Goodluck
