Switiching from Tier 2(ICT) Main to Tier 1 (PSW) Dependent

Hi All,

Can anyone help me please.

My wife applied Tier -1 (PSW) visa in India and she got the visa for next 2 years.

I am in UK in Tier 2(ICT) visa. She will be coming to UK on April 3.

Yesterday, the Home Office have announced that they are going to stop Tier 1(PSW) from April month. Can I switch from Tier2(ICT) to Tier 1 (PSW) dependent visa of from inside UK after April?

Thanks a lot arsenal49. I have checked it again. It's going to be implemented from 2012 only.

Am I able to apply PSW dependent visa from inside UK as I am having a Tier - 2 (PSW) main applicant. Some of my friends said, I should go back to India for applying this visa.

Is it true?

As far as I know, Only dependent applicant can't switch their visa into main applicant of any visa in UK. But I am already a main applicant of Tier 2, May I know Why I can't switch as a dependent from inside UK ?
