TIER-1 : Extension Points required

Post by Devb » Fri Mar 25, 2011 7:46 am

Hi,
Below is how my my Sister's Points for the TIER-1 Extension :
Master;s Degree : 35
Uk Experience : 05
Income : 35

Total reach 75. Is this means she achieve the required pass mark or you have to score (or you are better to score!) more than 75?

Her Income comes in two sources:
1). Salary based income : £ 3,300 (Gross Salary)
2). Self Employed Profit : £ 29,200 (Nett Profit)
(under the Points ruling her application she has to get £32,000 or more for the 35 points).
Is this income with evidence is enough?

You don't state when she applied for her initial visa? If she had to score 80 (+20) when she initially applied, she will, after 6 April have to score 80 (+20) and not 75 in order to get the visa. If applying for extension before then, it is still 75 across the board.

Hi,
I just checked with her and confirm that she needs to score 75 points under the scheme she is in.

Question is if she achieve 75 points, is it enough or they want 75 or more?(even if the passmark is 75)

Is there any difference in terms of the extension approval, if she get 75 or 80 marks (passmark is 75)
