Please explain more as to how much earnings you had shown as selfemployed.

What exactly did your accountant sent to home office, eg summaries of invoices, expenses etc etc.

Was he registered with ACCA or any other bodies recognised by UKBA.

thks for reply.
yes my accountant is ACCA qualified and recently he became FCCA.
he prepared profit and loss + balance sheet and i send invoices.

my accountant used NET TAXABLE PROFIT to calculate points for all of his clients including me. some of them got visa and some still waiting.

but unfortunatley, my case worker said, "please note we cannot accept any adjustments made for taxation purposes."

it means they used NET PROFIT not NET TAXABLE PROFIT in my case.. how can he do this to me? is he wrong? or my accountant.

all the ohter application were successful using NET TAXABLE PROFIT but how come mine unsuccessful.
is this mistake by homeoffice ?

my visa expires on 12 june 2011. i know i dont have appeal right.
is there any way apart from making fresh application?

time is less. need advice and help;
thks

Hi Kid,
I think both of us got the same issue. If you don't mind, can we have some private chat about it? Mine is rejected on the same ground.

Did he remove ur expenses? Has he given you a cetificate stating list of payments you recieved by self employment? Net taxable profit is the one u earned after deducting your expenses. My friend got rejection saying that the accountant was not registered, but he was registered with CIMA.

I even don't understand the case of rejection.. is it because of the word used by the accountant rather than just using the net profit??
please update what happened in your case..

Unless the full content of the letter from accountant submitted for the case in question is shared, no one can say for sure why the caseworker stated what he did and what it means.

The most people can do is speculate .... which will be useless, as always.
