PAYE is required If I am a director of limited company

Hi All,

I am the director of the limited company and I am a employee of the company as well.. Till now I dont have PAYE number.. wondering when do I need? Till now I took the dividents and the basic salary from my limited company..

I need to apply for Tier1 extension and wondering do I need to have PAYE ? do I need to submit PAYE documents along wtih my application.

If you are applying for tier-1 as a salaried employee (salary+dividends) there is NO check of paye/nic etc made by UKBA.
