Tier 1 General - Extention ( profession in retail )

Post by sahil20174 » Mon Apr 04, 2011 11:15 pm

Hi

Iam on Tier1 general visa and my extention is due in July 2011 i am part self employed and also working for a company in retail sector ( sales )

I have income from both sources self and salary from job

But according to the new Tier 1 General Policy guidance which will be implemented from 6th April 2011 it states

Description of category:
The Tier 1 (General) category is aimed
at migrants who wish to engage in highly
skilled employment in the UK.
Successful applicants will be free to seek
employment without having a sponsor
or to take up self-employment/business
opportunities in the UK.

I was wonder can i include my sales job salaray towards earnings as it is NOT A HIGHLY SKILLED JOB do you think home office will accept it or may refuse ?

Your valuable replies and advice is highly appereciated

Thank you

Regards

Sahil
