Is my occupation permitted to immigrate in HSMP?

Is my occupation permitted to immigrate in HSMP?

I graduated in July 2001 with major of accounting and got a bachelor degree. But I did a job of international trade since I graduated. I don't know is international trade a acceptable field by HSMP? I have heard that HSMP is mainly designed for guys with technology and science background. In addition, my major in university and work experience is not accordant. Is that a handicap? Who can answer me? Thanks a lot.

HSMP doesn't require any particular field, however you do need to show that you can continue your career in the UK.

As long as your position is of graduate level (preferrably supported by a letter from your employer to that effect) you can claim points for it.
