re: claiming taxes

Can a student claim his taxes when he leaves uk for good? does it get the taxes or the n.i contributions for the number of years he stayed here? pls reply..i badly need to know...

one needs to pay taxes adn NI for the duration of the time they have spent in UK. fact that one leaves UK doesnt allow one to get these taxes back.

However one may have paid more taxes depending on how much is earned and when that person leaves the country. contact HMRC.
