Open Work Pemits

Does anybody know if open work permits exist in the uk and if so how long are they valid for if anyone knows any details of this scheme it will and provide some light on it will be a very big help

From all that I know of immigration related issues, work permits are specific to the employer, who file for an application on the applicants behalf. If granted a work permit for a company ABC, you can't then go on and start off work for another company XYZ !!!

I guess you refer to HSMP.
