CAS issued from B Rated Sponser Before April 21

Post by Fahid » Wed Apr 13, 2011 1:43 pm

Hello All,

UKBA Statement of Intents Says:
Changes from 21 April 2011

B rated sponsors will not be able to assign
CAS to new students (only to those seeking to
complete a course)
Please help me confirm/ understand what it exactly means.

I have received my CAS letter dated. 25-03-2011 from a B Rated Spenser. Will the above statement of intent affect me ?

I personally assume the above statement as, B rated sponsors will not be able to issue any more CAS letters but already issued CAS letter will remain useful.

is my understanding right, please confirm

Confirmed.

Been Reading Tier 4 of the Points Based System – Policy Guidance, to
be used for all Tier 4 applications made on or after 21 April 2011

It verifies that I was understanding it right.

Thanks and topic may be removed if necessary.

If your CAS issued before 21st April, you are fine. Its for the B rated sponsors who cannot issue CAS after 21st April. You can apply anytime before or after 21st April once your CAS issued before 21st April.

Best of luck.
