HSMP Guidance Notes of Pre 7 Nov 2006

Post by farah » Fri Apr 22, 2011 8:14 pm

I was searching the forum/web but could not find HSMP Guidance Note issued at the material time by Home Office in respect of post April 2006 but pre Nov 2006 period in the context that what is mentioned about absences for ILR.
If anyone has the document link than that be provided.

AFAIK, there was no "HSMP guidance" specifically drafted for post-Apr'06 pre-Dec'06 HSMP migrants, in the context of ILR and absences from the UK.

In terms of absences from the UK, all economic immigration categories have had the same permitted allowance - 180 days in the qualifying residential period, and no single absence of more than 90 days (exceptional and compassionate circumstances excluded).

Obsolete / outdated documents and information can be accessed and downloaded from the Home Office section of the National Archives.

Alternatively, one may access the following HSMP Guidance(s) from here.
1. HSMP Guidance 2003 (pre Apr 2006 changes).
2. HSMP Guidance (over 28 ) - June 06.
3. HSMP Guidance (under 28 ) - June 06.
4. HSMP Guidance - June 2007.
5. HSMP Guidance - August 2007.
(Free sign-up may be required to download).
