Biometrics appointment

Post by khaleeque » Wed Apr 27, 2011 8:23 pm

Hi,

I have received letter for biometrics. I tried booking online and by phone but they dont have any appointments till end of june as i have a dependent(wife). I read few posts when they book appointments individually. Can i do the same because my wife is pregnant and i cant delay it till june. Is it possible to give biometrics as we both have different case ids. If i do that will that affect my application or not. Because some of you have given individual biometrics
Also in FAQ it says anyone over the age of 18 is not considered as family group its very confusing.

I have already booked my appointment for end of may for me and my wife. Can I cancel and enroll biometric individually now in post office?

Well said. Ukba mentions in biometric letter if you are sole applicant then you use PO facility(not dependent)

Thanks obc 14 for prompt reply...

I have booked my biometric by phone and I did receive just booking reference number by text.

Is that expected or I need any booking letter as well from UKBA?

cheers!

booked individually

Post by qmenon » Thu May 05, 2011 11:45 am

Hi guys.. Just to add to this topic.
It is exactly the same case for me and my wife who is pregnant. I was not getting any dates for biom together, hence booked it individually and we got it in end of may. When I spoke to telephone booking they had told me that the next available date might be in June.. so I did it individually.
Hope this is ok guys.
They sent me the brn via email today that is one day after I made the appointmnt..

Good luck all.

Hi,

I have read your posts regarding booking different appointments for dependent applications. I am in a similar situation, applied with 3 dependants. Haven't yet received letter but I want to know if I book appointment separately, I will get 4 BRNs, so in the biometric letter where you have to write down BRN, is there space for every dependant or just one column where you can write on BRN. My concern is if I receive one letter with different case IDs for each dependant, I book all of them as sole applications and then when I have to write BRN manually, is there space in biometric letter for different BRNs.

Thanks alot.
