Hi

I was initially on work permit for 1 year than Tier 1 for 3 years and now if i extend my tier 1 , will get 2 more years ..logically I will complete 5 yrs after 1 yrs .....I will be able to apply for ILR.

In this case since there is no timeline problem for me I can apply for early extension of my tier 1 application by 2-3 months ........


Will that be OK ?

Yes, you can apply early extension. Only problem is that you wont get post dated visa but that should not be a problem for you.
