waiting for acknowledgement letter...urgent help

Post by swathi.kothapalli » Sat May 07, 2011 8:40 am

i have applied for my psw on 16th april 2011 and they have recieved my post on 19th of april, but until now havent recieved my acknowledgement letter.
can any one sugest me why i havent recieved yet.... i have contacted customer services as well, they are saying that the system will update my details only after 4 weeks.
when i contacted royal mail they said that the post was recieved by the home office on 19th of april.
i do accept there were so many bank holidays in between, but then also this is such a long gap.

As long as they have received the application, do not worry about it, there might be delays in processing!

Post application processing timelines in the sticky topic.
Likewise, if looking for related information on intermediary milestones, browse the sticky topics.
