ILR from Tier 1 > Overtime (Out of Hours Work) money

Post by newc » Sun May 08, 2011 2:41 pm

Hi,

Could the overtime money (Our of hours work) be considered as part of the total Gross salary for ILR purpose when applying ILR from Tier 1 category?

The Overtime was paid along with the salary and had additional entry in the Salary slip.

Has anyone been in the same situation and been to PEO? Were there any specific questions about that if the current year salary gone down from last year (when got Tier 1) but still in the same band as last year?

Would appreciate any comment...

Whatever earning you pay tax on is considered. So yes overtime is the part of your 'earned' salary.

Also, according to current requirements you need to claim points. It doesn't matter what were you earning last year, as long as you satisfy the points criteria you're good to go.
Goodluck.
