Schengen Port of Entry

Post by neoms21 » Tue May 10, 2011 5:35 pm

Hi All,

I've got schengen visa stamped from French embassy but I haven't made a trip to France yet.

Can I use the same Visa for trip to any other schengen country before France?

Thanks

Your welcome, but if you dont make it to France, they will have questions for you next time at your visa application!..doesn't necessarily mean rejection!

I know that there is no border and you could enter for eg amsterdam and exit from amsterdam but been to france as well.. so ur passport says only exit and entry from amsterdam....you get what i mean!!

Thanks for letting me know that thing. I'll make sure to get a stamp from French authorities before Visa expires.

Cheers Dude.

If you live in Southeast England, a same-day-trip to France on the ferry can be a wonderful very cheap way to visit. Last time I did it I paid £40 for a return ferry ticket for my car and for everyone in the car. Calais is not bad and they speak French wonderfully!
