Hi,

I would like to know does English Test is require for Tier 1 dependent Visa for spouse / Kids after 6 April 2011 ?

As I have switch to tier 1 from tier 2 in march '11 in Uk. my family in India.

UKBA site/Appln Form have mention £550 for applications made by post or courier, or £850 for applications made in person.
And vfs-uk-in.com have mention Rs. 60,000 per dependent visa.

I am very confuse do not know what should I do. My family ( Wife , 2 kids) in Delhi. where should they apply?

Please guide should I do?

1.There is no English requirement for dependants of Points Based System, english test is for spouses of Settled persons and British Citizens.

2. You should pay your dependants visa fees from where they are applying, that is India in your case and you will pay VFS for what they ask 60000 or whatever their website says. Those other figures are for in-country applications

3. Use the correct form UKBA website is for In-Country, use www.ukvisas.gov.uk, that is for applications made abroad!
