recorded my biometrics

Post by BEENAEEM » Thu May 19, 2011 2:09 pm

applied on 21 feb for tier1 (was on tier2 previously). had apointment for biometric on 3rd of may and now its 19th may n i havent got any permit neither passport nor documents. now i called biometric centre n ukba too n they said it could take longer as it depends upon individual cases. on website after recording biometrics they said BRP should reach us within 10 working days. im just wondering why this visa process takes so longer. when i applied for tier2 it recahed me in 3 weeks n now 2 montsh have passed n no progress...........................plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz anybody tell their experience. will i get permit first or passport? after getting permit what will i do? should i just wait for my passports to come?

I think there are a lot of people who take finger print on April, still haven't received anything back.

I think you need to read carefully what the website states.

You ar expecting Tier 1 visa in 2 weeks time!!!That is really some expectation

UKBA considers waiting time of 14 weeks as perfctly normal..

I got mine in 11 weeks..

I received my passport and biometric [on the same day] after 7 weeks of application and 3+ weeks after taking biometric,
Do not worry, if you claim enough points as specified, you will receive your visa sooner or later

Waiting time is updated in UKBA websites--> "We are currently considering applications where the applicant attended a biometric appointment on or before 17 May.", so your application should be decided soon....

Dont worry.. I know its along time before you have applied... Your permit and passport should be in a week or so.. Even I have submitted my application on March 24 and Bio on 18 April.. But heard of anything yet..

Hope everything goes well..
