Tier 1 dependent bank statement date

Hi,
My wife applied tier 1 dependent on 5 may 2011.I have submitted bank statement till 14th april.I have some doubts:-

1.The last 3 months would be 14 jan 2011 to 14th april 2011.is that right?
2.the guideline says
"that the funds have been in the bank for at least three months and the balance has not fallen below £533 or £1600, as in the examples above, at any time during the three month period."
If i have submitted bank statement till 14th april 2011 and applied on 5th may 2011.How they will calculate 3 months?

15 Jan - 14 Apr. There should be no problem, provided that you have maintained the required balance.
